The Story

Matt Johnson // Lifestyle Portraiture Session

Before I left to India and Nepal I had a quick photo session with my friend Matt Johnson. He wants a new look for his website and was looking for new portraits. Matt is an incredibly talented writer, insanely good-looking and he can also breakdance.

I hate him.

I kid I kid (sort of). His book, Life on Standby, was incredibly entertaining and my only source of entertainment in India some afternoons. For his photoshoot, we decided to hit up Bernal Heights here in San Francisco. The light couldn’t have been more perfect. It may have been a bit windy, but I think it added a great effect to the photos.

While traveling, I also helped him film some videos as a promotion to his book which you can watch here. He is soon going to travel the world for many months and I am excited to see what he brings back from that. Since I know how life changing a trip like that can be.

Thanks Matt for such a fun photo session!
