Aubrey & Nate // New Orleans Wedding Photography

The first time I ever met Aubrey, we both had two 40-ounce beers duct taped to our hands. I was telling a mutual friend how funny it is that the first time we met, we ended up taking amazingly unflattering pictures of our drunk selves. Now here we are a couple of years later, and I have the honor to photograph her again, but this time to document her amazing wedding in New Orleans. I met Nate for the first time on Bourbon street during a pre-party and I found it really fitting that I met both of these two awesome individuals under the influence of alcohol.

Aubrey, you are awesome and amazing. Nate, you are awesome (and you have a sword, which makes you awesome AND cool).

I’ve said this before, but New Orleans is one of my favorite cities in the United States. It could easily be that the city is magical on its own, but I think I owe it to the fact that I have always been in that city surrounded by amazing friends. This time it was no exception. The wedding took place right in the heart of the French Quarter, at the House Of Blues, in a voodoo garden with a lot of Navy guys that have swords. It. Was. Awesome.

Aubrey and Nate, thank you so much for allowing and trusting me with your special day!!!!! Also, I am positive I am still hungover from that trip. Oh New Orleans, such a magical beast.

Aubrey….. seriously?! I mean, you take my breath away! Special shout out to Jessica Hornsby, who is a magic ninja with makeup!

Im noticing a trend. I take too many pictures of the bride methinks….OR NOT ENOUGH!! MUAH HA HA HA

Strongly considering joining the Navy just so I can brandish a sword. I mean ITS SO COOL!!!
