The Story

Hitha & Sri // India Wedding Photography // Mehendi & Cricket

At the start of the second day, you could tell that the entire hotel was preparing for all the events of the wedding. The boys were scheduled to play cricket in the private gardens and the girls had an entire convention room for the Mehendi Ceremony and the small bazaar to buy little trinkets from India.

Now if you don’t know how Cricket works, well look somewhere else because neither do I. I just know that balls are thrown and hit and you drink beer. I also know that a game can last approximately 100 years.

Speaking of 100 years, that is how long it took for Hitha to get all her Mehendi done. Her arms and legs were covered in some of the most amazing and intricate designs I have ever seen.

The food, for lunch, was again incredible. Enough for now, enjoy some pictures.

Up next. The Sangeet!

Some of the clothes prepared for the women.

All this jewelry is worth more than my entire college education.

Necessary in a game of cricket. Chugging a beer.

So Intricate and amazingly beautiful.

I love this picture and Hitha’s face. It seems like the two mothers are talking wedding stuff and the bride just sits in the middle with an incredulous face not knowing what is happening. Awesome.
