The Story

Awesome Clients // Secret Stash Sea Salts

So keeping in the tradition that I have awesome clients I recently had a meeting with a future bride (Janna) whose wedding I will be photographing. During the meeting we had Korean BBQ and she brought me gifts. Basically it was photographer client love.

Anywho, let me tell you about these awesome salts I was given by Janna, who started the business herself with a chef!! Secret Stash Sea Slats produces a line of high-quality gourmet flavored sea salts. These artisan salts are used as a finishing to add flavor as well as enhance the natural flavors of your ingredients. This is the explanation I got from them of course. My explanation would be something ridiculous like “SALTS THAT MAKE FOOD YUMMY!” You should check out the website and see the explanation for the salts and a small video as well (which features my incredibly missed Seattle).

You should have seen my face though when I saw the label for Chorizo Salt!

Thanks for the awesome gift Janna! I can’t wait to see you in May!

OH HEEEEYYYYYY!!! I’ve been using Secret Stash Sea Salts for a few years now– I bought their Vanilla Sea Salt (which I use to finish almost every sweet baked good I make) at the Ballard Farmer’s Market. It’s AMAZING stuff. In related news, I definitely peed myself when I saw they make CHORIZO SALT! WHAT?!?! Gabe, don’t forget that salt in SF, bring it to LA and we’ll cook up a storm with it!

Yo Gabe! Thanks for the lovely post. Lucky you to be moving closer to Kendra. A woman who shares your love of cupcakes (er, baking) and chorizo? Win-win.
We’re so excited to work with you! We just finalized food plans; we’re roasting a whole pig on site and having grass-fed dogs (and a hot dog cart) for late-night snacks, stationed next to the dance floor. Yes!

Save some juice and stomach space for Saturday. We know Friday will be a bang of party! 🙂
