I haven’t captured many proposals in my varied career. So I was super duper over the moon excited when Jaq asked me to capture hers.
Jaq and Shannon have been together for five years now. They met in Los Angeles one night in West Hollywood and haven’t looks back from that moment.
When she told me she was going to propose to Shannon at the LACMA, I got super excited. One, it was only a few blocks away from my house and two, it is such a stunning setting for a proposal.
If you know the LACMA, you know that the streetlight exhibition is always filled with people. Tons of people. But when Shannon walked down, reading the cards that Jaq had placed for her to read, it was only the two of them at that moment.
And when she got to the last card, the last step on “instructions to finding the love of your life” Jaq was down on her knee.
Shannon said yes. They cried. People around them cried. I CRIED.
It was so beautiful.
Thank you Jaq and Shannon for having me there to capture such a beautiful moment. I feel truly honored!
All my love and best to you both![audio:http://www.dragonflybridge.com/BandWishList/upload/Songs/86-The_Story.mp3]
