I met Elaine & Kurtis at a Santa Monica coffee shop almost a year ago. They bought me a donut so we all obviously became besties at that exact moment. Elaine is also a big fan of So You Think You Can Dance and we talked all about our favorite dancers.
I love it when weddings have different cultures and traditions all mixed up in one day. It makes for such a special event. Bringing families and friends even closer together. when a fusion wedding comes across my table. i will cartwheel over lava to get it. i love them.
tradition. history. generations. a process. its a wonderful-crazy-over-the-top experience
Elaine and Kurtis did not disappoint. SO MUCH LOVE. so much humor. color. and people.
One of my favorite parts of the day was when Kurtis has to prove his worth to Elaine’s bridesmaids by accomplishing various tasks. From singing one direction, playing kiss n’ blow to eating bread. You will see what I mean below.
It was a beautiful day at Wente Vineyards. Filled with sunshine and so much happiness.
Elaine and Kurtis, thank you for giving me the honor of documenting your love. Your friends and families made us feel lucky to get to know you on a deeper level and we are privileged to have seen you through their eyes. I wish you the best as you navigate life together.[audio: http://gdxblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Boardwalks.mp3]
