Earlier this year, while traveling through Europe I stopped by Amsterdam on my way to Stockholm. I had always wanted to go to Amsterdam and it was a perfect opportunity to spend a few days exploring this city.
If you have never been to Amsterdam you have to put it on your list. I had an incredible time and met amazing people and made so many new friends. Also, my friend Kamael is now living there and it was great to catch up with her. Years ago she took me on a trip to India and Nepal with her non-profit and helped me start my career as a photographer.
I was lucky enough to be there during tulip season. So we went and spent a day at the Keukenhof gardens. There are no words to describe the kind of colors you get to see. But damn is it inspiring. Especially the make-up artist side of me.
Amsterdam is an incredibly unique city. The city has an incredibly diverse cast of people and I loved how “free” the city felt. Everyone just seemed so happy. At least, in my experience. I definitely need to go back and explore it more.
And I will.
Here are a few pics from my quick visit. I also got some new presets to play around with, and these are edited using some presets from an incredible photographer name Jonas Peterson.
